Whiplash
Injuries to the neck caused by the sudden movement of the head, backward, forward or sideways is referred to as whiplash. Whiplash can cause the muscles and ligaments supporting the spine and head to be overstretched or torn, and is usually the result of a car being struck from behind or colliding with another object. The symptoms resulting from whiplash can be headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, pain in the shoulder, arms and hands, reduced ability to turn and bend, and even low back problems. These symptoms, however, may not appear until weeks or months later!

A chiropractic doctor can use specific adjustments to restore proper motion and position to the spinal bones, and to help improve spinal function.
